south dakota ends 2014 with some surprises and maybe doing what did not get done for 2015

and thus like every other state south dakota is preping to usher in 2015. myself included which given how 2014 ended for the state with some history and a few hell froze over moments. 2015 may be tame so far. from the first hell froze over moment being the state legislature after so long passed a texting and driving ban a weak one but at last and at the last minute passed it. plus also voters decided to raise the minuim wage starting tommorrow. which normaly would be after the feds do it. plus its gay marriage ban now being challegened. plus history got made by voters making its congress delagation all repubs. even as a scandal over eb5 looked to derail rounds. plus dugard kept his job. as 2014 ends for south dakota and its crazyiness of its government.

owners of cameo the mattress cat get to celebrate the new year together cameo returns home.

and one new years resolutions haley and roywill be making is if they ever sell some furniture again make sure their cat cameo is not hiding in it . as after spending the holiday searching and praying after learning that  after  he sold haleys old mattress pad since they were going to be moving in with each other  on craig list. roy soon discovered too late that cameo had hidden in the matress where turns out  cameo goes when upset . and when the new owner came forward and took the matress while driving away roy figured out cameo was in there too late. but the mattress was only four miles away from their town and after spending the holidays with family in arizona and offering a 200 reward for his return or learning  his fate. the couple wound with the best gift of all . cameo was found at the portland airport. and after setting a cat trap with some sardines and one of their shirts cameo got caught and after losing some weight and a busted up eye and paw is happy and healing . and so are his owners who now get to welcome the new year not only in their new place but their family whole as cameo the mattress cat is back home. and no doubt roy and harley will check the furniture from now on before they sell it to make sure cameo is not hidden in there .

couple gets a big party crasher president makes them move wedding for golf game. says sorry

and talk about partying crashing  newlyweds  natilie heimel and her now husband ed  who are both in the military wound up with a little change thrown into their wedding plans when they got told that they would have to move their wedding  at kanobe klipper golf course. the reason the presdient and his friends were planning to play some golf. so they wound up moving to a differant location one with as natilie  a better view. and then they got a call from the president saying he is sorry for that happening if he had known what was going on there he would have not gone through with the golf game saying he is sorry . if nothing else the newlyweds will have a story to tell their future kids and grandkids that they had their wedding crashed by none other then the president of the united states so he could play golf.

president tells congress he is warming up veto pen . which may be how everything is done

while he still vacations including making news for crashing a wedding and telling the newlyweds he is sorry they got their wedding changed so he could golf. the president also made it known to congress that he is warming up his veto pen which unlike the early days of his term did not get used much. plus even though the repubs control both chambers they don’t have enough to override a vetoe would need some dems help. and no doubt the veto pen will get used when congress does things like going after the health care act or trying to stop his immgration plans. for odds are unless the repubs finaly tell their tea party comrads enough no more have to compromise. the veto pen is now going to get a work out as the president gives the warning its being readied.

new year starting with war in afghanistan at long last done by u.s after decades .

and thus at long last even though the u.s will leave some forces there to help get the afghanistan forces trained to be totaly on their own handling threats like the taliban returning or isis .  after decades and for all intents and purposes now the u.s is done with as the president said the longest war ever fought  to the u.s now its at long last done which means other then the troops still staying the u.s will have no more military involvement there which means troops not staying will at last be home for good till the next war . as the u.s starts the new year with afghanistan now no longer a current battle zone of u.s forces after decades other then those traing security forces.

justices dropping hints gay marriage may be on the docket for scotus next term at last.

kind of hinting now after the 6 court got divided by upholding some gay bans on marriage. mostly the one justice his is the most anti gay kind of dropping hints . in an interview. scalie kind of said that its looking good that among the cases for scotus next term begining next month is finaly gay marriage. even after the court turned down hearing appeals on the issue . not only is it looking likely that the issue will now according to scalie be on the docket for next moths term even though the ruling would not be till april. scalia also said that it could be likely that scotus could wind up not one gay marriage case but two cases on the docket. as the one issue the country is waiting for scotus to finaly take care of for good looks like it may now happen as part of next term at last. as justices dropping and hinting that gay marriage may be part of their next terms agenda at  long last. and maybe two cases. and revealed by the one justice who is most against gay marriage scalia.

cbs and undercover boss stirs up hot water over latest boss offering a boob job first for the show.

and thus like all other shows it had to happen sooner or later.  like besides the founders of walmart doing the show at last and still not changing their ways. cbs and undercover boss wound up now facing some controversy when doug the owner of a bar called bikinis which as the name applies attracts business with the female waitress wearing bikinies. now winds up in hot water as not only firing one of his workers julia who due to the camera’s decided to not wear her bikini then stated she is only working there till she finds some better fired. her and then had the gall to offer to help her find a job. her reaction like i am going to the guy who fired me for job help. and walks off but the big thing that now has the episode and cbs in a little controversy doug offers a boob job to worker julia due to even while wasting time on her phone had the idea to go out and get some business hulohopping. she said she wanted a boob job and he has offered it. first time for under cover boss for normaly hard workers get promotions and money to take care of their bills or some able to buy a much needed house. but this time cbs winds up with under cover boss in a little hot water. as one particpit gift of thanks for her job. a boob job.plus bikinies got what the owner wanted to be now out there by name since controversy sells. and people may go to bikinies now just to see the place that wound up with cbs in trouble by offering first ever for under cover boss  offering some plastic surgery . a boob job.

the hobbit king again of the box office takes number one back

and thus proving that the power of middle earth is still strong  for its last go round. the hobbit the battle of five armies wound up taking back number one from unbreakable. with a new total of 142.7 million and also just about knocking into the woods totaly down  to about number five barley letting it keep number three. as the hobbit regains the box office crown again over the holiday. as for the interview so far its total  1 million not even in the box office race .

some workers will start the new year with a little raise a minium wage hike. this week

and for some workers they will be starting the new year come thurs with a late xmas gift in a 20 states including south dakota who also tied their raise to inflation at last. as minium wage hikes are going into effect with other laws to start the new year go into effect . as for congress raising it at the feds not going to happen with the repubs running thing. as come the new year this week workers are going to get some gift those who make minium wage as  a raise in some states kick in this week to start the new year even a little raise of the minium wage is some what better not enough but still maybe closer and closer to someday having the thing raise to be a livable wage.

judge shoots down roman polanski latest bid to throw out his old case says he would have to return.

citing that in order for roman polanski to have his conviction in his sex case thrown out due to judicial misconduct  which is what caused him to flee the country and be a fugitive.  he would have to return in person to the u.s  and plead his case citing that he is still a fugitive. which every one knows that if roman sets foot on u.s soil he would be arrested and over zealous prosicuter even though being told by romans former victim she would not testify or take part in any attempt to try him again on the old charges. never the less. were roman to set foot on u.s soil he would be on trial even though the statue of limitations to try him in the sexual assault case has long run out. he could be tried as a fugitive. but other wise. roman is not coming back to the u.s any time soon. as a judge shoots down his latest bid to get his old case convictions thrown out citing judicial misconduct grounds. due to the fact that roman would have to asking in person. which we all know roman is not going to be that crazy to risk being arrested and the victim of a d.a who can’t just finaly accept that roman manage to avoid any jail time for his sex crime due to the statue of limations and just wants roman as an example of ego. though he does still have charges of being a fugitive.
